do you know what the issue is?
the computer im currently using normally has sound speakers (hearing videos or music from my computer) anywayz i cant hear a thing. i tried to go to the sound icon but the proper stuff doesnt pop up instead the recorder speaker thing pops up. instead of the volume adjuster
Try opening the volume control a different way, so you can make sure it isn't on mute or something. If you are using Windows OS, you can do this by going to Start < All Programs < Accessories < Sound Settings. I think that's what it is (Sound Settings), maybe "Volume Control." (My OS is in a language I don't speak (yay!) so I forget exactly, but it should be relatively easy to figure out). There you should see the Sound Icon.
If everything checks out with that and it's still not working, make sure the speakers are hooked into the computer properly. Also try using head phones and see if they work. If they do you can pretty much assume something's wrong with the speakers or the speaker hook-up.
